Bardi Judges Georgia Construction Competition for High School and Technical Students

On March 21-22, Bardi sponsored and participated in judging for the CEFGA (Construction Education Foundation of Georgia) CareerExpo and SkillsUSA State Championship, which is the single largest construction event in the Southeastern United States. More than 7,000 people attend the event at the Georgia International Convention Center over two days.

judging-1Attendants include students enrolled in high school and technical college construction programs and a variety of leading sponsors and presenters from the industry.

In addition to presenting the construction industry in an engaging and entertaining way to students, the SkillsUSA competition awards prizes to skilled, motivated and dedicated high school and technical students in a range of categories. Students compete in carpentry, masonry, electrical, heating and air conditioning, welding and plumbing events. The scoring is based on SkillsUSA national task standards and prepares skilled workers for the Georgia construction industry and beyond.





Bardi judges included Alex Bardi, Ricke Jenkins, Gresham Ard, Adam Bardi, Jeramy Trammell, Aubrey McStay, Gus Voutas, Matt Goltz, Tracy Stone, Jimmy Lovinggood and Shawn Sullivan.
