Each year, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce recognizes those businesses that have been pivotal to economic growth and stability. On Friday, April 26th, the event recognized 25 small businesses and three nonprofit organizations that have made a local difference.
Bardi Heating, Cooling and Plumbing received the top honor as Best Business for 2013. The award is based on steady and above-average growth and profitability, growth in number of employees, contributions to the community, overcoming adversity and original entrepreneurship. Bardi achieved 112% growth in 2012.
Alex Bardi, President and Founder, accepted the award to a packed house at the event, thanking the “Chamber of Commerce, the community and the most important asset, our employees. It’s been a wonderful journey.”
The Bardi staff was there to help celebrate the big win with smiles all over the room, including Brian Baker, Tracy Stone, Tommy Rape, Bob Jarrett, Ricke Jenkins, Greg Weigle, Adam Bardi and Gresham Ard, among others. Winning Best Business in Gwinnett County is a result of the company’s commitment to the community, staff and customers.
“Bardi looks forward to being a part of the growth in Gwinnett County for years to come and we are proud to hold the top title of Best Business for 2013,” says Alex Bardi, who founded the business in 1989.
